Seattle isn’t only the home to Fifty Shade’s of Grey filming but can also look a bit grey throughout the month of December. Lucky for us, there is plenty of art to see and experience. Seattle Sampling – Artists’ Studio Tour

Seattle’s Artists’ Sampling runs from December 5-7th, as a free self-guided tour, with 10 participating studios. First Choice Friday on December 5th allows participants a sneak peek and with Open Studios held the following two days.
Drawing Jam – Hosted by King FM 98.1
DECEMBER 6th, 2014
The Gage Academy of Art building on Capitol Hill will be a place for actual and aspirational artists, all-day on December 6th. While the entrance fee is $10 for those older than 15, all art supplies and parking are free!
‘Museums on Us’ – Presented by Bank of America
DECEMBER 6th-7th, 2014
From December 6th to 7th your Bank of America Card can give you access to over 150 art museums, including the Seattle Art Museum. You can check out SAM’s current exhibits here.
SAM Lights – Olympic Sculpture Park
DECEMBER 11th, 2014
The Seattle Art Museum is hosting SAM Lights, with several interactive events to be held at Olympic Sculpture Park. Admission for the December 11th event is free, as is other winter events on the park grounds.
Georgetown Second Saturday – Art Attack
DECEMBER 13th, 2014
Georgetown Art Attack will feature a variety of art and live music on December 13th from 6-9PM. The event and free Art Ride Art Bus is hosted by Georgetown Merchants Association.
Velocity Dance Center – Speakeasy Series
DECEMBER 14th, 2014
Seattle’s Velocity Dance Center Speakeasy Series will be hosted by Dance artists Nancy Blanco and Fausto Rivera on December 11th. There will also by a free film screening by Rodrigo Valenzuela, as part of Next Fest NW.
