(reaches to shave ankles in shower), (secures high bun in 3 knot ponytail), (cracks back while standing on the bus)…. I could go on about the unique and creative ways I ‘practice yoga’ on the daily. But this list of some creative types of yoga for people looking to stay limber + have a bit of fun!

Artsy Yoga: Summer at SAM – Olympic Sculpture Park 
Studios and instructors (like 8 limbs Yoga) will be leading yoga at the beautiful Olympic Sculpture Park on various days in July and August.

Doga: BYOD to Downward Dog
BooBoo bakery and boutique hosts group and individual Doga classes. Treat you and your pup to some stretches and maybe a few treats from the doggie bakery.

Boga: Yoga on a Boat
Jackie’s Yoga Seattle makes yoga anything but boring as you board a ship to get your yoga or ‘boga’ on. (Next class is March 28th on the Steamship Virginia V).

Falling Yoga: Yoga by Snoqualmie Falls
Vinyasa and Gentle yoga classes are taught in Salish lodge’s new ‘Hidden Terrace’ which overlooks the breathtaking Snoqualmie Falls. Follow up the flow with a trip to the spa or hike around.

Hoppy + Happy Yoga: Yoga at Nine Yards Brewery
Yoga425 offers classes at 9 Yards Brewing (which is an awesome space!) during the week and sometimes on the weekend.

Henry Art Gallery offers Video//Yoga on the third Thursday of every month. Yoga taught side-by-side with video art.
